| Whole-wheat flour |

| Skimmed milk |

| Melted jaggery |

Method: |
- Heat the milk to just before boiling, add melted jaggery to this & let it cool till it becomes lukewarm.
- Dissolve yeast in the lukewarm water & then add to the above mixture & mix by stirring well.
- In a large bowl, sieve the whole-wheat flour & salt together, make a well in the centre & slowly pour the liquid mixture, blending in the flour continuously. Make into a smooth dough.
- Knead this dough well & cover the bowl with a moist cloth. Let the dough rise to double the size. Beat down the risen dough & knead well. Divide & transfer greased bread pans so that the pans are half full.
- Allow to rise in a warm place until almost double.
- Bake at 180?C for about 50 minutes until it shrinks from the sides of pans.
