Ingredients: |
| Grated red pumpkin |
|
2 cups (heaped) |
| Sugarless koa (mawa) |
|
1 cup |
| Sugar |

1 ½ cups |
| Saffron |

| Powdered nutmeg |

Method: |
- Remove thick outer skin, seeds and fibrous portion from pumpkin.
- Grate the pumpkin using stainless steel grater. Measure it and then pressure cook till one whistle without adding water to it.
- Allow to cool and squeeze out if there is excess moisture.
- Mix with crumbled koa, sugar, saffron (dissolved in warm water) and pour it in a greased ovenproof dish.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven (250 degrees C) till top turns reddish brown in colour (approximately 30 to 45 minutes depending upon the oven).
