| Pineapple juice |

Method: |
- Put pineapple slice and cherry at the bottom of a jelly mould. Sprinkle brown sugar on it.
- Stiff together the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar till soft. Now beat in the egg and fold in the flour.
- Add milk. Pour the cake mixture over the arrange fruit in the mould.
- Bake in a moderately hot oven (370 degree F).
- Un-mould it on a plate and serve with pineapple sauce.
- To make pineapple sauce, add little water to corn flour to get a paste.
- Add this paste to pineapple juice and cook till it becomes thick, stirring constantly.
- Add butter and sugar. Mix well. Pine apple sauce is ready.
