Method: |
- Boil milk and let it cool down.
- Beat the eggs and mix in sugar and salt.
- Pour this mixture into the milk, stirring constantly, and put in a double boiler.
- Cook over simmering water, stirring constantly, till custard starts coating the back of the spoon.
- Remove from fire and blend in the essence.
- Serve with fresh fruits or jelly.
