| Urad dhal |

| Rava |

2 Tbsp |
| Black pepper |

2 tsp(powdered coarsely) |
| Jeera seeds |

1 tsp |
| Oil |

1 tsp |
| Salt to taste |

Method: |
- Soak dhal in water for 20 minutes. Drain water and grind it coarsely with very little water. Then add hot oil, rava, pepper,jeera seeds & salt to the ground dhal and mix well.
- Make small balls out of this paste and keep it in a plastic sheet or a small plantain leaf and flatten it with wet hands. Make a hole in the center. Deep fry this in hot oil till both sides turns brown and crisp.
