60 g |

| Red Chilli powder |

Method: |
- Pick, clean and wash the dal.
- Add dal and water in a heavy bottom pan.
- Add salt and turmeric powder, stir. Bring it to boil and continue cooking on slow fire till tender, well blended and of desired consistency. Remove from heat.
- Heat fat and add cumin seeds, garam masala and red chilli powder. Pour this baghar over the dal and serve hot in bowl.
