Method: |
- Chop the Spinach into small pieces and cook with sufficient quantity of water.
- Wash dal and cook it with turmeric powder in a pressure cooker.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and put few cumin seeds. When cumin starts spluttering add onions and fry till they become golden brown.
- Add ginger-chilli paste to it and again fry for a minute.
- Mix chopped tomatoes. When tomatoes get cooked, add spinach and cooked dal. Now add water and salt. Boil the mixture for few minutes.
- Serve hot.
