Ingredients: |
| Refined flour (Maida) |
|
40 g |
| Ghee |
|
10 g |
| Cheese |
|
20 g |
| Salt |

1/8 tsp |
| Baking powder |
|
1/4 tsp |
| Black pepper powder |
|
1 pinch |
| Mustard powder |
|
1 pinch |
| Milk |
|
1/2 tsp |
|

Method: |
- Sift maida, baking powder, salt and seasoning together.
- Rub the fat in to the maida.
- Make a soft dough using cold water.
- Roll into a rectangle 1/4 cm thick. Divide the dough in to three imaginary parts.
- Sprinkle 1/4th cheese on parts 2 and 3.
- Fold part 1 on to part 2 and then part 3 on part 1.
- Roll again to 1/4 cm thickness.
- Repeat this process of rolling and folding again.
- Brush with milk and sprinkle the left over cheese all over.
- Cut in to approx.2 cm squares and bake in hot oven till light brown.
