| Vanilla essence |

Method: |
- Sieve the flour and baking powder together.
- Cream butter and sugar well.
- Beat the egg. Add the egg and vanilla essence to the creamed mixture
- Fold in the flour and make into dough.
- Wet hands with water and divide the mixture into small walnut size balls.
- Coat the balls coarsely crushed cornflakes and place on a baking tray, keeping them an inch apart.
- Bake at 350 0 F for about 10 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack.
