Ingredients:

Refined flour (Maida)   40 g
Castor sugar   20 g
Butter   30 g
Cornflakes   1/4 tsp
Baking powder   1/4 tsp
Egg   1/4
Vanilla essence   few drops
 

Method:

  • Sieve the flour and baking powder together.
  • Cream butter and sugar well.
  • Beat the egg. Add the egg and vanilla essence to the creamed mixture
  • Fold in the flour and make into dough.
  • Wet hands with water and divide the mixture into small walnut size balls.
  • Coat the balls coarsely crushed cornflakes and place on a baking tray, keeping them an inch apart.
  • Bake at 350 0 F for about 10 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack.
