Ingredients:

Refined flour (Maida)   40 g
Castor sugar   20 g
Butter   20 g
Peanuts   20 g
Baking powder   1/4 tsp
Milk   to make the dough(approx.1 tsp)
Egg   1/4
 

Method:

  • Roast the peanuts, remove the skin and grid them coarsely.
  • Sieve flour and baking powder together.
  • Cream the butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg.
  • Add the flour and peanuts to the above mixture and make the dough using a little milk if required.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured board into 1/4" thickness.
  • Cut into biscuits with a cutter and prick each biscuits with a fork.
  • Bake in a moderately hot oven (350 0 F) for 10-15 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack. Serve.
